Education, jobs, and opportunities for all of Omaha
I’m looking for a mayor who can bring hope in the form of education, jobs and opportunities to the people of North Omaha and South Omaha. Many of the problems we’ve seen with violence in those areas is a direct result of the lack of hope among young people there.
Omaha’s next mayor should partner with existing community groups to improve conditions in those areas of Omaha. A true effort on that front would begin to change the minds and hearts of the young people there. Only then can the violence be stopped.
There are a lot of great programs already working on this, but a strong push from Omaha’s next mayor would make a huge difference.
